And here is a sneak peek at the beginning of UNDERCOVERS, the novella I wrote for the collection. Now remember, this is the start of a new series, so don't be left out.

He heard the buzzing, and knew immediately what the sound was. The problem: he couldn’t find the damn phone. He reached across the bed to the nightstand, to silence the vibrating. No nightstand. Shit.  He sat up and looked around. Where the hell was he?
The sun peeked through the sheers, where the drapes hadn’t been closed all the way, and he glanced quickly around the room. Slowly, his mind focused as the phone stopped vibrating. He looked at the naked woman stretched out next to him, and scooted off the bed.
He moved deliberately, stealthily, picking up his cell phone, his shoulder holster and Glock, and his rumpled white shirt.  Following the trail leading out of the room like Hansel and Gretel’s crumbs, he also picked up his jeans, boxer briefs, and leather loafers.
Standing just outside the room, he put his iPhone in his mouth, hung his holster over his shoulder, dropped his shoes to the floor, and stepped into his jeans. As he buttoned his 501’s fly, the phone nearly vibrated the fillings from his teeth. He pulled it from his mouth, swiped the screen, and whispered, “Jackson.”
“Where the hell are you? We go in at eleven hundred.” The male voice bellowed in his ear so loud, he turned to be sure the woman in the bedroom hadn’t stirred.

    1. Thanks so much Jenna! I hope I got the romantic suspense genre down. I'll see when the novella comes out. I'm looking forward to adapting the TV pilot.
