·         Guest Post:
Do you like books with angels, demons, bounty hunters, mobsters, radical militia members and a hero with romance commitment issues?  My new novel has all this and more told with a dark gallows humor which will make you laugh even when you know it's wrong.  I love books with non stop action and write my own books with that in mind.

    2. You have been very supportive. Every writer needs to have friends who support you like Jamie Lee. I highly recommend everyone pick up the novels of the Gotcha Detective Agency.

  5. God bless modern technology. I got a flat on my way home to join you here. Now I'm riding in my wife's car, using her laptop, connected via my phone. Sorry about the delay in joining in on the fun.

  6. WhAt was the inspiration for Hand of God and the Watchers?

  7. The Hand of God was inspired by the song The Devil Went Down to Georgia. I always thought Johnny was an idiot, risking his soul for gold. Which made me wonder what would I risk my soul for? Would you kill someone to save the soul of a loved one?

    1. Useless trivia, I can sing every last word of the song The Devil Went Down to Georgia, and do without being prompted, so I pity you when I'm in KY in September, because my singing can curdle milk.

    2. Jamie Lee, wait until I jump in on harmony. We will ROCK Imaginarium in September.

  8. The main character in my novels, Victor McCain, is put in such a situation. The book is about choices and how they affect us not just in this life, but the next one. In The Watchers, I got the idea while doing research for book one.

  9. Linda, I like to drop my characters into life and death situations and see if they come out the other side alive. Lots of action, tons of dark humor.

    1. The Watchers are some of the more interesting beings who are barely mentioned in the Bible. They are spoken of more in length in some of the apocryphal books which didn't make the cut to be included in the Bible.

    2. Lots of dark humor and great fun. Tony is a great writer, he just doesn't write FAST enough. LOL

    3. We're working on that one, Jamie Lee. The next book, The Speaker, will be out by Christmas.

    4. And yes. I know. The Watchers. The Speaker. In this case, the Speaker refers to the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

  10. Fans of Jamie Lee should know, I have a quote about The Hand of God from Jamie Lee on the back cover of The Watchers: "This would make one freaking good movie. Bloody, paranormal, noir and funny."

  11. The Watchers picks up 3 months after the end of The Hand of God. All the major questions from book one are answered.

    1. Thanks, Sara. In my books God has someone dealing out Old Testament justice, but doing it under the table.
