  1. Enjoyed the interview and I'm looking forward to checking out Ms. Drier's work. Old school on the favorite song and singer. Then again, I also like "old school".

  4. Thanks Jamie! And thank you, Tony. I debated about adding the Beatles...really Old School!

  5. so glad to find another Joan Baez fan. When my ex and I were first married, we owned four long-playing records--all Baez. Later branched out to Neil Diamond, Judy Collins, and, less to my liking, Fleetwoord Mac. My kids still love Fleetword Mac.

  6. I think you'd be what we'd call an all-round sort of a gal. A very eclectic bunch of ideas. Great stuff. Oh, definitely the Beatles.

  8. Fun interview, Michele. I don't think you're old school at all. And I love the Beatles. Agree with your actor picks.

  9. I really liked a lot of your favorites. I didn't know Elizabeth George had written a book on writing. She's one of my favorite authors. This was a fun idea for interviews. Enjoyed it a lot.

  10. Anyone who love's Janis Joplin, Meryl Streep and Ann Patchett is tops in my estimation. I never thought of Sacramento on a favorite things list, but I bet you could introduce me to it's mysteries, beauty, and excitement.(I was born in Sacto, but never lived there.) David Corbett raved about Elizabeth George's book just the other day at a class he led. Two recommendations in a week? I better read it. Fun to know something about "my president."
